TEN STEP INTENSIVE AT HOME FACIAL

It is so fun and relaxing to get facials done. Choosing the treatment that's best suited for your skin can be a challenge and even intimidating. Some facial treatments can be abrasive on the skin leading to faster aging. I recently tried out a regimen that is both intensive yet gentle in the anti-aging category as well as affordable. The results were amazing! If you're interested getting lifted, smooth, and velvety skin without all the trips to the spa then keep on reading.

I'd like to start by suggesting that I prefer using one brand of products. Why does that matter? Different companies have their own ingredient sources, technology, patents, and standards. If you use a cleanser from one brand and then a toner from another and so on, it can cause a reaction in your skin. Skin likes consistency so don't introduce too many products or you may irritate it. In my intensive facial routine, I used products from Artistry because I love the organic source and botanical extracts used by the world class scientists. These products offer us a balance of nature in a bottle-the classic 21st century skincare.

STEP 1: Start off by cleansing your skin. The anti aging cleanser I use is creamy and gentle. You only need a pea size amount because it consists of concentrated botanical properties and so a little goes a long way.

STEP 2: Open your pores. If you don't have a facial steamer you can soak a towel under hot water and place it over your face for a couple minutes.

STEP 3: Clean your pores with the deep cleansing facial mask from Artistry. It uses white Amazonian clay and Kaolin clay to draw out impurities.

STEP 4: After it dries up, remove the mask. I usually use the same towel that I previously soaked.

STEP 5: Artistry Intensive peel. I love this peel. In general you should be careful with peels because they usually consist of an acid or two, which will burn your face if left on too long. This renewing peel is made from a 100 step process and uses a self neutralizing mushroom enzyme.  That means it exfoliates through the deep layers of skin and stops once it reaches health pH. Professional peels can be costly, starting at $300 and may cause severe irritations.

STEP 6: Peel is wiped and washed off after 8 minutes.

STEP 7: Using a cotton pad, wipe Artistry Anti aging toner all over the face. What I love about this toner is that is minimizes the space between pores while softening the skin.

STEP 8: The newest addition to my skincare collection is the Intensive vitamin C serum. This is an amazing and powerful formula that combines 100% pure vitamin C with hyaluronic acid. Together they prevent signs of aging by reducing appearance of fine lines, keep skin plump, and offer antioxidant protection.

STEP 9: The anti-wrinkle firming serum is another intensive product that uses retinol, vitamin C, peptides and other soothing extracts to rebuild elasticity and firm up the skin. In the past, when I've used retinol, it really dried out that area of my skin and I swore not to use retinol again. This product is so soothing and there's no dryness after using it.

STEP 10: The best of the best is saved for last! The LX regenerating eye and face cream has remarkable ingredients such as 24-karat gold, three patents and six pending. The results are astounding and I love how it leaves my face feeling very moisturize and glowing.

These products are intense and extremely effective. I've done this treatment to several people who said that their skin felt tight after 3 days of applying these products.

If you decide to try this out for yourself, post your pictures. I'd love to know how you like it and how your skin feels.
