Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. We are insured by Beauty & Body Work Insurance Company.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes. Although makeup artistry is not legally mandated, it doesn’t mean one should not go to school and learn. In order to provide the best experience for your and most professional and memorable service, the artist holds multiple certifications from two schools and attends several masterclasses yearly. Maintaining industry professional standards is a must and is taken very seriously.
Q: How do I get ready for my appointment?
A: Clients receive an email with very detailed instructions.
Q: What is your travel fee? Do you travel for destination weddings?
A: There is no travel charge for a length up to the 40 mile radius of our home office location. After the 40 mile radius, there is a charge of $1/mile. Please inquire to get a quote. We would love to join you for your destination wedding so you can get expert service on your big day. Travel and stay must be provided for all destination weddings.
Q: Is makeup done on site?
A: Yes, makeup application is done on site at the location of your choosing. Services are also done in our in home studio.
Q: Do you offer airbrush?
A: Yes. There are THREE types of makeup services offered. Makeup application can be done with traditional brushes, sponges and other disposables using liquid, cream and powders. Airbrush is another method used as well as an airbrush spray foundation. Airbrush makeup is recommended for people under the age of 40 and for textured/acne prone skin.
Q: Is gratuity included in your fee?
A: No, but if the client wants the convenience of not dealing with money on the day of service, it can be add to the bill in advance.
Q: I looked through the services offered but want something else, can I have a customized quote?
A: Yes of course. Send us a message and we’d love to come up with something tailored to your needs.
Q: Do you offer vegan/cruelty free services?
A: We want make you feel beautiful but we also believe in being responsible. For this reason we strive to use only cruelty-free or dermatologically tested skincare and makeup. This includes our lashes and brushes which are human hair, synthetic, or vegan.
Q: Is last-minute makeup application available for the bridal party?
A: It’s quite common for this to happen. We will do our best to accommodate for your big day, but it is not a guarantee if there are time restraints.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes. A non-refundable 50% retainer is due when you sign the contract. Payments can be customized following the down payment. Entire balance is due before the appointment time or services will not begin.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: For any cancellations within 72 hours of booking the event, the booking fee will be returned.
Bridal services cancelled 30 days before the wedding require the remaining balance to be paid. The reason for this fee is due to loss of other booking opportunities during set event.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept Chase Quick Pay, Paypal, all credit credits, and cash.
Q: Should I avoid anything before my makeup application?
A: It is advisable to avoid any harsh facial treatments especially before a bridal makeup application. Also do not use SPF moisturizer for any photographed events. The artist will use the appropriate products during the session. All clients will receive a makeup/hair prep guide upon booking with more detailed information and guidance.
